Circle Properties is another field in Geometry. Quite similar to Congruency and Similarity, it involves using Circle Theorems to solve problems.

Firstly, get used to the terms in Circle Properties! I have some applets done using the Geometer's Sketchpad. To view these applets, you have to download both the webpage and the jsp5 file and save them all to the SAME folder. Open the files with Internet Explorer

You should be able to click on the applets and move the points around.

If you can't open the files above or is too lazy to try, you can also view the slides below.

The slides below give you an overview of the terms used, as well as the propertities itself. Some of the properties come with proofs, which you are not required to know but will help you understand the theorem.

Here are the powerpoint slides for the above:

These are the GSP files to illustrate the properties. Save them to the same folder as the ones above and make sure you have downloaded the jsp5 file as well. Open the files with Internet Explorer
You should be able to click on the applets and move the points around.

In addition, I have also done up some of the properties using Geogebra. Instead of constructing them from scratch as written in the notes, you can download them here and use it directly:

Here is a quick summary of the properties and some examples of how to use them:
